Happy 3rd of July!

We got to go see Brian's parents (Granny and Grandpa) this past weekend, and Brian's Nana and Papa were there, too! Cale had a blast! After our KS trip, he is so excited about animals, so he was definitely excited to see their dog, Buddy. He kept trying to feed him everything (especially Cale's own food he didn't want).

Cale took his first boat ride on the lake! And he got to swim in the lake. On Friday night, we were able to watch a fireworks show since we had to drive back on Saturday. At the end, one exuberant spectator yelled: "Happy 3rd of July!" I had actually forgotten it wasn't the 4th til then! :) We had lawn chairs set right at the edge of the lake to watch... it was so much fun!

After we got home, he will still point to the container they are in and wants to eat nothing else.
