While we wished we could have spent more time with them, Uncle J and Aunt Stacy blessed us by coming over after Christmas even though they were worn out from too much travel. CAle had a ball playing with them and getting Aunt Stacy to read to him. One of Cale's favorite gifts had to be the basketball goal. Okay, okay, truth is, that was mine and Brian's favorite! We put it at its highest level and spent night after night playing PIG and HORSE in "friendly" competition. It's the kind of basketball game I can hold my own in against him. :)
We have now lowered it. As soon as Cale started to walk, he keeps trying to take the basketball and he throws it as hard as he can while looking towards the goal. It's nowhere near, but it's fun to see that he gets the concept!
