I made a monkey cake I'm rather proud of... as I have never done that kind of thing before. I practiced 2 times before I did it and made my own way of doing it after seeing an example I liked online.
Cale did his typical thing... he observed for quite awhile, studied the situation and pondered it over in his mind. He's not a jump into it kind of kiddo. (He's a lot like his Mommy and his Daddy both). He's not afraid. He's never shown that he's uncomfortable, just wants to watch and think about it and study everything and everyone. So, needless to say, we had to do some coaching on putting his fingers and hands into the cake. It took quite a while. I loved every moment of it, because it's just him. But once he got going, he did quite well, I must say. :)
